My basics…
the scoop, the whole story, certainly my past. I am showing you what I have to remember from my life.

Drawing and painting is an idea.

…hand and eye moving to the visual perception, to the sensation, emotion, demention, of life and time.

Communicating between my world and yours.

I was very interested in art as a kid and experimented in watercolors and pastel. My first exhibit of my watercolors was in 1964. I worked in watercolor in my studio from photos for many years before I rediscovered the beauty of drawing. With the ability to mix dark and lite shadows along with colors quickly, without layering, and can capture a mood or the light of the day.

I love painting the outdoors, experiencing nature and attending to the color range that is not captured in photographs. I use a primary palette to keep my color clean and I use a dry prush.
