RJ's CREATIONS

is the primary business and we have divided up the departments between the upholstery shop, fabric store, hard window coverings, roman shades,installations, custom drapes  and top treatments, decor rods, duralee and robert allen custom furniture departments. We also  do original paintings, and craft designs.

Our mission statement has always been to provide home furnishings and design service.We are only practicing our craft like many other people across this great nation. One customer at a time.

It is not unusual to pick up a window coverings or upholstery publication and read about some family run operation in another state doing exactly the same thing we are. We're all in the same profession. We're really not competing. We're just practicing our craft. 

Our Business

WE started in the bay area in two different  ways. As "Window Dressings" and also as  Drapery Plus back in the 1990's. After a number of years we consolidated the two into Drapery Plus after moving from Hillsdale Mall to Belmont and later to Redwood City. The last move was into our [ 5000 sq. ft.] location which was an office furniture store. We have grow large enough to do upholstery now. 

Who We Are: Everything is the same except for the address. Now we have a smaller shop 1064 cherry . Kathy has been in this business over  25 years and she is very good at picking fabrics for any application. Her background with Hunter Douglas product lines as well as the others gives her a big advantage when she is helping customers in the showroom.

......R J has been in this business since 1960 when he got out of high school. His mom was  in the curtains and slipcovers and his dad furnished products and services to many large companies.
